Cast Iron Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients:

- 8 chicken drumsticks

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

3. Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss until they're evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

4. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken drumsticks to the skillet.

5. Sear the drumsticks for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.

6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the drumsticks reaches 165°F (74°C).

8. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your skillet-roasted drumsticks!
